Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Skopje:Badel (#3) and Vardar (#4). Vardar was defeated at home 58-71 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Badel dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Vardar 's 38. Badel forced 21 Vardar turnovers. The former international forward Marija Nikolov (172-2005) notched 24 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and American forward Lindsey Cleary (183-1997, college: CMS) supported her with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Cleary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds by the former international Elena Tasevska (186-2002) did not help to save the game for Vardar . The former international forward Milica Nikolic (188-2006) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Badel (10-5) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position having just one point less than leader KAM Basket, which they share with defeated Vardar.
